Tucumán

The province of Tucumán is located in the northwest of Argentina. Its appeal lies in its interesting history, diverse culture, and breathtaking scenery. Thanks to the subtropical climate, a manifold flora flourishes here which gives the region its nickname “el jardín de la República”.

No matter if you are planning an activity holiday, explore the nature, or retrace the steps of the Argentinean natives, in Tucumán all of this is possible. Trekking, mountain biking, or paragliding are just a few of the many activities that await the adventurous traveller. Furthermore, there are several mountains to climb and rivers to cross.

Contrasting this, Tucumán also offers recreation at its best in the form of beautiful lagoons and nature reserves. Watch baboons, toucans, and pumas in Parque Provincial Cochuna or admire the 40 meter high waterfalls of the Reserva Provincial Aguas Chiquitas.
