Buenos Aires – Río de Janeiro – Buenos Aires, 39 days

A group trip of 39 days to discover the wonderful coasts of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Most of the time you will sleep at camping sites but as well some nights in hotels. The region from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro is best to be described as an explosive cocktail of geological, geographical, historical and political ingredients. Your trip will follow the beautiful coastline of Brazil which will not only bring you to white beaches and deep blue waters at the Atlantic Ocean but it will also show the impressive history of Brazil, with former Spanish and Portuguese colonial influence.

On the land stretch between Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro the two Colonial powers Spain and Portugal have fought for dominance in the newlydiscovered world for over 3 centuries. Thanks to General José de San Martin the three South American countries finally gained independence in the early 19th century during the Napoleon wars. Beside the historic importance the tour route offers breathtaking views, beautiful beaches, sky blue water and tremendous cultural heritage.

Altogether you will travel around 5000 km through 3 different countries and see the great variance of landscapes. Some of the highlights are the Iguazú waterfalls, Isla Grande and Rio de Janeiro.
