All prices include:
- 250 free kilometers per day (unlimited kilometers for rentals over 42 days)
- Mandatory Insurance
- free pick-up/drop-off from / to our Buenos Aires depot (please inquire about other pick-up stations & one-way rentals and deliver to airports or hotels)
- Full motorhome equipment (bed linen, kitchen equipment, full gas bottle )
- chemical liquid for toilet
- camping guide & maps for Argentina
- 24 hours Telephone Assistance number for Argentina (English / Spanish)
- full tank of fuel
- Full water-tank
Extras: - Chile border crossing (also required for Tierra del Fuego / Ushuaia)

- GPS - navigation system (very useful in Patagonia )

GENERAL RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Pick-up & Drop-off: The selected motor home can be picked up and dropped off from Monday to Friday, 9.30 am to 5 pm. Please make special arrangements with us outside these opening hours and on Saturdays,Sundays and bank holidays. | Insurance:
Vehicles are insured against: - Theft
- Collision
- Fire
- Third party liability
| The deductible on ruta|sur insurance is EUR 1950.- for Argentina .

Border Crossings
ruta|sur vehicles can be driven in Argentina , Uruguay and Chile (other countries on request). To cross the border the renter needs a border crossing document and an international insurance card. The additional cost for this set of documents is EUR 95,-.
ruta|sur needs 7 working days to process these documents so you should advise in advance.

Payment:
At pick-up a security deposit of EUR 1950,- is required. The security deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period when the vehicle is returned without damage. After reservation of a vehicle we require a down payment of 30% of the total rental price. The remaining 70% needs to be paid at the day of pick-up. If you would like to pay in full, we offer an additional discount to your rental price (please inquire).

Cancellation Fees:
Should renter not be able to start the trip ruta|sur charges the following cancellation fees: - up to 90 days before rental period: 10% of total booked price - up to 31 days before rental period: 50% of total booked price - 30 days before start rental until start of rental: 100% of total booked price |
Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed in ruta|sur vehicles. |
Late Return:
Late returns can cause serious complications to ruta|sur vehicle planning. Late return fees : Up to 2 hours after the agreed return time: EUR 35/hour; 2-5 hours after agreed return time: 1 additional rental day; 5-12 hours after agreed return time: 2 additional rental days. |
Cleaning:
Vehicles are rented in clean condition and need to be returned in clean condition. If vehicle is returned dirty, or customer prefers cleaning to be done by ruta|sur a EUR 45,- cleaning fee is applicable. |
Driving License:
In order to rent our motor homes we request a valid driver's license for all registered drivers. ruta|sur recommends that all drivers use an International drivers license in combination with their original license. |
Minimum Age:
Minimum age for renters is 25 years.
Tickets and fines:
The driver is responsible for any fees such as parking or speeding tickets.
Additional Drivers:
ruta|sur does not charge extra to register additional drivers. However all drivers of ruta|sur need to be registered at start of rental. Unregistered drivers will not be covered by ruta|sur insurance. |
